Beginning with Version 8.1.3, all SAPPHIRE® Suite installers along with install applications for Supply, Build, and Viewer include a digital signature tab that identifies the application as originating from MiTek. This digital signature assists in verifying that all software installs and updates are performed in a secure manner.
With all installs distributed after June 11th, 2018, the name on the digital signature changed from "MiTek USA, Inc." to "MiTek Holdings, Inc."
Now, beginning with versions dated May 5th, 2021, the digital Signature changed from "MiTek Holdings, Inc." to "Mitek Holdings Inc"
Prior to running MiTek installs and updates, customers can verify the digital signature using the following steps:
- Download and save the install/update file to a local machine.
- Browse to the folder that contains the install/update file, right-click and select Properties.
3. Open the Digital Signatures tab and verify that MiTek Holdings, Inc. is listed as the “Name of signer.” This signature guarantees that the application originated from MiTek. For additional information, highlight MiTek Holdings and click the Details button.
4. In order to view the digital signature certificate, click the View Certificate button.
