Are you a design manager, a system administrator, or a MiTek software trainer? If so, then you'll want to know about a new feature on the MiTek Support site, shared playlists. What is a shared playlist? It's a collection of articles that YOU assemble and share with anyone who can access the MiTek Support site. How do shared playlists work? Let's take a look....First, after logging in to the MiTek Support site, locate the first article that you want to share. Next, click the Create Shared Playlist button. The Shared Playlist page displays, the system loads all knowledge base articles, and the first article is added to the list. Now, add a name for the Shared Playlist, Design Basics, in this example. Next, enter a search term. Knowledge base articles are filtered based on the search term. Click the eyeball to view an article in a new browser window. After reviewing the video, assume that you want to add it to the shared playlist. Open the original browser window and click the plus button. Now, either continue adding articles using the same process or enter a new search term. After adding articles to the shared playlist, use the arrows to organize it. Once the playlist is complete and organized, click the copy button and then paste the link into an email. When the recipient receives the email and accesses the link, the playlist is displayed as a series of links. In addition, the playlist can be bookmarked for later use. Note that playlists are not saved on the MiTek Support site and they cannot be edited. If a new article needs to be added to a playlist, or an article needs to be removed, simply create a new playlist. Note that the playlist page can be accessed directly, using the following link: https://support.mii.com/help/shared-playlists-create To summarize, shared playlists are now available on the MiTek Support site and are a valuable resource for anyone responsible for sharing knowledge about MiTek software applications.
